A group of Kurdish nationals protested outside the American Embassy in Nicosia yesterday against what they call the US’s failure to launch air strikes against the terrorist group ISIS and protect the people of Kobani in northern Syria.
The demonstrators started protesting outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at around 10.00am on Monday before marching to the US embassy.
The protestors are calling on the international forces to protect the civilian population of Kobani who will be massacred as ISIS moves closer to seizing the city in the Aleppo Governorate of Syria.
