† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL
Eleni Georgiou Stavros
(From Philia, Morphou, Cyprus)
It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Eleni Georgiou Stavros, who passed away peacefully on Friday 6th September, at the age of 86.
She leaves behind her husband George, daughter Eve, son Vas, son in law Sean, daughter in law Denise, and 4 grandchildren, Bella, Pia, Margot and Sebastian.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday 25th September 2024, at 12noon at The Greek Orthodox Church of St John the Baptist, Wightman Road, Harringay London N8 0LY, followed by the burial at Edmonton Cemetery, Church Street London N9 9HP, at 2pm.
The wake will follow at St John the Baptist, Wightman Road, Harringay London N8 0LY. Flowers are welcome and can be sent to Demetriou and English Funeral Directors. There will also be a donation box where the proceeds will be given to the St John the Baptist.

Με μεγάλη μας θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε τον χαμό της αγαπημένης μας συζύγου, μητέρας και γιαγιάς Ελένης Γεωργίου Σταύρου, που έφυγε από τη ζωή ειρηνικά την Παρασκευή 6 Σεπτεμβρίου, σε ηλικία 86 ετών.
Καταλείπει τον σύζυγό της Γιώργο, την κόρη της Ευανθία, τον γιο της Βασίλη, τον γαμπρό της Κώστα, τη νύφη της Denise και 4 εγγόνια, Μπέλλα, Πια, Mαργκότ και Σεμπάστιαν.
Η κηδεία θα γίνει την Τετάρτη 25 Σεπτεμβρίου 2024, στις 12μμ από τον ιερό ναό του Αγίου Ιωάννη του Βαπτιστή, Wightman Road, Harringay London N8 0LY, και θα ακολουθήσει η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο Edmonton, Church Street, London N9 9HP, στις 2μμ. Η παρηγοριά θα δοθεί στην εκκλησία.
Τα λουλούδια είναι ευπρόσδεκτα και μπορούν να σταλούν στο Demetriou and English Funeral Directors. Θα υπάρχει επίσης διαθέσιμο κουτί εισφορών όπου τα έσοδα θα δοθούν στον ιερό ναό Αγίου Ιωάννη του Βαπτιστή.
