† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL
Galatia Zangoulou

Ιt is with broken hearts that I announce the sudden passing of my beloved mum, Galatia Zangoulou. She was an extraordinary woman kind, caring, and completely selfless. She devoted her life to her family and to helping others, always putting everyone before herself. She was a source of strength, love, and comfort to so many, and her presence brought warmth wherever she went. Her passing has left a profound and heartbreaking void, one that will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.
She will be missed beyond words and remembered always.
She leaves behind her beloved daughter Maria, and her cherished grandchildren Zoe, Emilio, Luca & Son in law Elliot.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday 29th January 2026, at 12pm, at All Saints Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Camden St, London NW1 0JA, followed by the burial at New Southgate Cemetery, Brunswick Park Road N11 1JJ, at 2pm. Following the burial, the wake will take place at Walker’s Cricket Ground, Hall, Southgate, N14 7JZ. Flowers welcome.

Με ραγισμένη καρδιά ανακοινώνω τον ξαφνικό θάνατο της πολυαγαπημένης μου μητέρας, Γαλατίας Ζανγκούλου. Ήταν μια εξαιρετική γυναίκα, ευγενική, καλοσυνάτη, στοργική και εντελώς ανιδιοτελής. Αφιέρωσε τη ζωή της στην οικογένειά της και στο να βοηθάει τους άλλους, βάζοντας πάντα τους πάντες πάνω από τον εαυτό της. Υπήρξε πηγή δύναμης, αγάπης και παρηγοριάς για πολλούς, και η παρουσία της έφερνε ζεστασιά όπου κι αν βρισκόταν. Ο χαμός της έχει αφήσει ένα βαθύ και δυσαναπλήρωτο κενό, το οποίο θα γίνει έντονα αισθητό από όλους όσοι τη γνώρισαν και την αγάπησαν.
Θα μας λείψει απερίγραπτα και θα τη θυμόμαστε πάντα.
Καταλείπει την αγαπημένη της κόρη Μαρία και τα αγαπημένα της εγγόνια Ζωή, Εμίλιο, Λούκα και τον γαμπρό της Έλιοτ.
Η κηδεία της θα τελεστεί την Πέμπτη 29 Ιανουαρίου 2026, στις 12μμ,από τον Καθεδρικό Ναό των Αγίων Πάντων, Camden St, NW1 0JA, και θα ακολουθήσει η ταφή στο Κοιμητήριο New Southgate, Brunswick Park Road N11 1JJ, στις 2μμ. Μετά την ταφή, η παρηγοριά θα δοθεί στο Walker’s Cricket Ground, Hall, Southgate, N14 7JZ. Τα λουλούδια είναι ευπρόσδεκτα.
