Recently released, Gift Panic, is the first game to stem out of Frogsy Gaming Studios in Limassol, Cyprus. Founded by Johan Boger and Robert Olsson, the company currently consists of 17 people and is always on the lookout for more talent to join the team.
Gift Panic, is a unique match-3 puzzle game available on both the App Store and Google Play. The story follows a little robot-toy called Tin in a magical place called Gift Land. The main objective is to match the gifts and free all of Gift Lands’ creatures from the mighty bosses and Evil Bear Bandits.
Being built around the company’s advanced K3 engine, the possibilities of adding new elements and features to the game are limitless. Gift Panic’s mechanics have set the new standard for mobile puzzle game play.
It features astonishing graphics and animations accompanied by a mesmerising and original soundtrack. Pixel by pixel, the Gift Panic team worked meticulously on creating truly spectacular visuals and animations as well as sounds and music for users to enjoy. The music was engineered at Angel Studios by Steve Price and performed by members of the London Symphony Orchestra.
Unlike other games of its kind that only allow players to match horizontally and vertically, Gift Panic also allows users to match diagonally too. This feature instantly becomes a favourite amongst its users and serves as a catalyst for the game’s unique and exciting nature.
Players of Gift Panic can also connect and compete with each other through Facebook, making the experience a social one too. There are currently over 290 levels over 4 individually themed Towers along with monthly updates with additional levels and features.
The development of this project dates back to 2014 with the first version of the game released exclusively on iOS. Now, with over 200,000 downloads, Gift Panic celebrates its fresh arrival on Android devices as well.
