A 19-year-old National Guardsman has been remanded in custody for four days by Larnaca court in connection with the massive fires that ravaged the Larnaca district Wednesday.
Police told the court that they found evidence of flammable materials in the car of Sotiris Zachariou, from, Kofinou.
The court was told that he was arrested on a dirt road close to the area of the fire.
