According to a report in SABAH, TC businessman Asil Nadir could be sent to Turkey.
However with the fear that he would be set free if he is deported back to Turkey, the British government is waiting for the UK elections to end on the 7th of May before he takes any action. It sees the deportation as a risk.
It is believed that PM and Conservative Party leader David Cameron will not take the risk of losing votes if Nadir is set free in Turkey therefore everything is on hold at the moment.
Nadir had been convicted and sentenced to 10 years; under normal circumstances, he had 16 months left in prison.
