Cyprus Telecommunication Authority (CyTA) and the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) held a joint press conference on Wednesday revealing a new partnership.
Applying from yesterday’s announcement the Cypriot First Division has been renamed Protathlima CyTA and will be valid until 2019.
A new logo has also been revealed for the island’s top football division.
CyTA and the CFA have been cooperating since 2005, with Wednesday’s announcement for naming and TV rights being the latest such partnership between the two.
CyTA stated that they are planning to provide services and offers for the “modern football fan” across their TV, mobile, tablet and web platforms.
