Ways to upgrade health services between Cyprus and Israel were examined during meetings Health Minister Dr. Stavros Malas, held in Tel Aviv with Israeli officials.
Dr. Malas met his Israeli counterpart Yakov Litzman and the Science and Technology Minister Daniel Hershkowitz.
An official statement said that during his meeting with Litzman, they discussed the possibility of establishing cooperation using satellite services with specialized hospitals in Israel and private clinics in Cyprus.
“These kind of efforts aim to give additional value to the medical infrastructure of Cyprus”, Malas added.
During his meeting with Science and Technology Minister Daniel Hershkowitz, Dr. Malas analysed the Cypriot EU presidency’s priorities in the field of research. Dr. Malas will chair the Competition Council during the EU presidency in the second half of 20
