Paphos FC leads the race of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan, after the conclusion of the 1st Round of the Championship.
In a match that should have started on Saturday at Ethnicos Achnas Stadium, it was postponed due to rain, and continued on Sunday, Paphos defeated Ethnicos with 2-0 and reached 34 points.the Pafos goals came from Jairo in the 8th minute and Goldar in the 38th minute.Aris beat Paralimni in Limassol 2-1 and remain in second place of the standings, while AEK reached third place with 27 points after beating Omonia Aradippou on Friday with 1-0. The team from Larnaca took advantage of the draw in the derby between Omonia-APOEL on Saturday.

The Nicosia Derby between Omonia and Apoel ended in a 2-2 draw at the GSP, in the 13th and final matchday of the fiirst round of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan.In the first half, Loizou and Jovetic scored two goals for Omonia to give them a good start, Apoel reduced the score to 2-1 in the 33rd minute with a goal from Dražić, who also scored the equaliser in the 61st minute
AEK Larnaca managed to win 1-0 against Omonia Aradippou, Enzo Cabrera’s goal in the 72nd minute secured the victory for the Larnaca team putting them in third place in the standings
Aris won 2-1 against ENP on Friday night. The team from Limassol managed to defeat ENP with a goal from Guastad at 90+4.added time. ENP conceded the first goal in the 53rd minute, while seven minutes later they tied the match with a goal from Shabu. Finally in added time Aris found the winning goal with Gaustad taking advantage of Panagiotou’s unstable save on a shot from Koreia and sending the ball into the back of the net with a close-range shot, for the final score 2-1.

The 1st Round of the first phase of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan has been completed and apart from the scoring data and the ranking of the teams, the League lists other interesting statistics.
Specifically, in the matches of the first round, over 91 matches, 249 goals were scored.
