A 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Limassol last night.
It is believed that Dimitris Anastasiou in collision with a taxi driven by a 58-year-old man. The driver was breathalysed and found to have 57mg of alcohol against the legal limit of 22.
He was arrested.
And in Paphos, a 21-year-old National Guardsman is in hospital with serious head injuries. He was the pillion rider on a motorcycle driven by another conscript, aged 18, when it went out of control and crashed. The 18-year-old suffered slight injuries.
