The Power of Dreams 2015
Enfield Council is hunting for the super-stars of the future as part of a wider drive to promote community harmony and celebrate culture and diversity.
The event will be the borough’s very own X-Factor style competition.
Singers, rap artists and dancers from Enfield are invited to come together and showcase their aspirations and talents. Prizes include recording time in a professional studio, £480 of high street vouchers, DJ equipment and clothing.
The Power of Dreams auditions are taking place on Tuesday 17 February between 12:00pm and 6:00pm at the Millfield House and at Highlands School on Thursday 19 February between 1:00pm and 6:00pm with the finalists from the auditions competing in front of a live audience and judges at the Millfield Theatre on Tuesday 10 March. All aspiring young artists are encouraged to book their audition slots as soon as possible.
Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment and Community Safety, Cllr Chris Bond, said: “Everyone who comes along will get an audition and have the chance to show off their talent in an effort to get to the final, but The Power of Dreams is really about reflecting the diversity if our Borough and how we can work together.”
