Happy 2020 to all our lovely readers! Xclusive is back for the new year, so what is in store for your ears’ pleasure this January?
First up, Giorgos Mazonakis is kicking things off with a brand new music video release for his latest single “Dianikterevo” featured on the album “Agapi Simeni“. His first unveiling of the new year, an upbeat, percussive laiko, dropped on 20th January 2020 at 20:20 and has already amassed over 670,000 plays on Spotify and 4 million plus views on YouTube! Composed by lyricist Eleana Vrahalis and musician Giorgos Sampanis, the song has received great support on Greek radio and Mazonakis’ fans get to enjoy a live rendition at his winter season residency at Fever in Athens every Friday and Saturday!
Bringing a very different tone to the Greek modern music scene is Konnie Metaxa. Her new single “Kamikaze“, released though Panik Records, is a dynamic and explosive pop anthem that stands out from the first listen!
A Marios Psimopoulos, OGE and DJ Kas collab, its otherworldly tone is reflected in the eerie circus vibe of the video that accompanies the release.
The buzz around Nikos Apergis‘ new song “Eimai Dinatos” started long before its official release thanks to its inclusion in the singer’s live set. This translated nicely into streams and views on its online debut, with the track soaring to the top of the YouTube trends within the first 24 hours! It immediately climbed to number 7 on the trend, counting over 100,000 views in a single day.
Apergis composed the music himself while Alexander Elefthetiadis penned the lyrics for the song. Catch a listen to all these tracks on the upcoming radio show “Scandalous”!
