Haringey Police is holding two recruitment sessions for Special officers (volunteer officers) in June on the 16th and 23rd – and they would like to invite any interested people in the Greek Cypriot community to attend.
There are currently 60 Special officers working in Haringey and the police would like even more as they are so valued!
Inspector Ali Osman who looks after the volunteer officers in Haringey has decided to change the format of the recruitment days. He noted, “If you’re interested in becoming a Special Constable we would like to offer you the opportunity to book a one to one session with one of our experienced Specials to find out more about this worthwhile and rewarding role.”
Anyone who is interested in potentially attending is asked to please contact Ali Osman on ali.osman@met.pnn.police.uk for further information. Haringey Police Twitter account also features several interviews with police and Specials highlighting the role they play in advance of the recruitment drive.
