Officers were called to Oxford Circus station shortly after 5.30pm this evening (20/11) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics also attended and a man has been taken to hospital where he is in a critical but stable condition.
It is believed he suffered a medical episode and fell onto the tracks.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
