Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi expressed on Thursday Israel`s support and solidarity with Cyprus during a conversation he had with his Cypriot countepart Nikos Christodoulides.
Christodoulides wrote on his Twitter account that “true friend FM of Israel Gabi Ashkenazi reached out today to reiterate Israel’s support & solidarity to Cyprus, in the face of escalating aggression in Cyprus’s maritime zones.”
Moreover he said that they also discussed further ways of strengthening ties, including in addressing covid-19 challenges.
