Jennifer Lopez is the new face of Coach

2019 has certainly been a great year for Jennifer Lopez: In addition to her engagement to Alex Rodriguez, a show-stopping appearance on the Versace runway, an epic 50th birthday celebration, her recent buzz-worthy role in Hustlers, and a highly anticipated Super Bowl halftime show with Shakira to look forward to, the award-winning actress and singer, producer and entertainer has just been announced as the global face of US fashion label Coach. She joins the brand’s star-studded list of ambassadors including Selena Gomez and Michael B. Jordan.

Lopez on Tuesday announced the campaign on her Instagram, sharing her thrill at what’s to come with her 105 million followers.

“I’m so excited for this collaboration with Coach,” Lopez said in a statement. “It is a timeless brand that I’ve always been a fan of and the upcoming collection really speaks to my personal style – an uptown downtown mix.”

“Jennifer is so authentic,” added Coach creative director Stuart Vevers. “She’s determined and she’s an original who has followed her own path to do things her own way – she really embodies the attitude of Coach and our new campaign.”

J-Lo’s partnership with Coach will begin with the Spring 2020 season with the singer appearing in ad campaigns for leather goods, ready-to-wear and footwear.

Earlier this year, Lopez, together with her fiancé Alex Rodriguez, launched a collection of sunglasses with the brand Quay Australia, as well as her 25th fragrance called Promise.
