A great major success the CyWineFest Cup tournament that took place last Bank holiday weekend at the Lee Valley who housed the Cypriot Wine Festival.
Its a tournament that will hopefully encourage more community teams to take part every year.
On our debut weekend we started on Sunday with the U10’s playing on a League basis Omonia Youth, Pro Soccer, TFA (Totteridge) Red and TFA (Totteridge) White. With TFA (Totteridge) Red the winners and Pro Soccer the runners Up.
On the second day Bank holiday Monday we had eight teams of U12’s TFA Red, TFA (Totteridge) White, Omonia Youth Gold, Omonia Youth Silver, Omonia Youth Green , Omonia Youth, Omonia Youth, Omonia Youth,
They started with a league system followed by semi finals between the four top teams for the main trophy and a semi final of the bottom four teams for a plate shield.
The U12 winners of the main trophy were Omonia Greens and the runners up Omonia Gold B 1
The U12 winners of the plate were TFA (Totteridge) White and runners up Omonia Youth White.
