QUESTION FOR WRITTEN ANSWER
To ask Her Majesty’s Government (a) what representations have they made to the Turkish Government about its plans to conduct seismic surveys in the Eastern Mediterranean within the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Republic of Cyprus from 20th October to 30th December this year; and (b) what are the implications of the actions of the Turkish Government for the UK Government’s Treaty of Guarantee obligations to the Republic of Cyprus.
We shall inform you of the Government response as and when it becomes available, should the wording of Lord Harris’s question be accepted
