With the Florida governor’s race in a dead heat, First Lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are headed to the sunshine state to support US Cypriot Charlie Crist whose grandparents came from Gastria in Cyprus.
The First Lady is set to appear at a fundraiser on October 17th at the Orlando-area home of former NBA player Grant Hill, as reported by Politico.
The Crist campaign also sent out an email which said Biden will appear at a rally on Monday at Temple Beth Shira in Boca Raton.
The aid comes at a time when the democratic candidate and incumbent Gov. Rick Scott are deadlocked at 40-39 percent likely voter support, according to the latest poll by 0ptimus.
