Pantel FC will be hosting their Annual Memorial Game, Pantel FC Vs Pantel Legends tomorrow Sunday 14 May at 10am kick off at Finchley Powerleague, Porters Way, North Finchley N12 0QG.
All support welcome. Let’s make it another special day for them to remember.
The team Pantel FC who play in our community KOPA football league was formed by the friends of Pantelakis Paul Michael who tragically died at the age of 21 15 years ago in year 2002 and are still going strong. This year they have been promoted to the First Division for the third time in their history.
Pantelakis Michael was born 9th October 1980 in London to Andreas and Melanie Michael from Ayios Amvrossios and Famagusta respectively. His father Andreas used to play for Athletic FC and his uncle Petros for Omonia and uncle Nicos for Athletic in the KOPA League.
He grew up attending Lochinver Primary school then to Highgate and when he sadly passed away he was studying Business studies at the University of Buckinghamshire.
This event is a day for friends, family and supporters to remember Pantelakis. There will be a match between the Pantel veterans and the current team and it is a social event that they look forward to each year with food and drinks available after the game.
This event is sponsored alternately by Demis Melachias Christou from DMB partners and Charlie Perdios from Anthony Pepe Estate Agents.
