Southend United Manager Phil Brown has completed the signing of UK Cypriot Harry Kyprianou.
The 18 year old former Watford winger can also operate at full back and Brown was sufficiently impressed to offer him a 12 month deal.
Phil Brown who also managed Derby County and Hull City said “he is really pleased to have signed Harry and he will initially be with our under 21 squad. The challenge for him is to push on from there but we`ve been impressed by what we`ve seen so far”.
At 16 years old Harry was included in the Watford squad for their FA Cup 4th round game versus Bristol City.
Harry Kyprianou is from Southgate his parents are born in the UK but both sets of his grand parents from Cyprus.
