Police on Tuesday launched an investigation into the theft of €37,000 from a parked car.
According to the authorities, the theft was reported at around 2.00am by the owner of a local restaurant. He told police that some time between 2pm and 11pm on Monday his car was broken into and a wallet containing €37,000 was taken from the boot. The vehicle is being examined for forensic evidence. Larnaca CID is investigating the case.
