Two teenagers have been arrested after a girl was raped in Alexandra Park on Wednesday, August 12. A man, Haktan Nedhibox, of Famleigh in Enfield, has been charged with several offences linked to the incident.
Police were called to a report of a rape at Alexandra Park, Haringey, on Wednesday, August 12. MyLondon understands that a significant cordon was set up in the park near Alexandra Palace.
Nedhibox, 18, was arrested on Saturday, August 15, and charged with rape, sexual assault, assaulting a female over 13 and over by penetration and causing a female over 13 to engage in non-penetrative sexual activity. He is due to appear in Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, August 17.
A boy, aged 17, was arrested on Sunday, August 16, in connection with the investigation and charged with two counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault and voyeurism. The boy has been remanded into custody and is set to appear at Willesden Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 18.
A teenage girl continues to be supported by specialist officers.
