US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Amanda Sloat is in Cyprus on a two-day visit.
According to a press release, issued by the US embassy in Nicosia, within the Department of State`s Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, DAS Sloat is responsible for relations with Greece, Turkey, and Cyprus.
She assumed her current duties in September of 2013, and is visiting Cyprus as part of a previously scheduled trip to the region to discuss the full range of bilateral issues.
