† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL
George Kyriacou

It is with profound sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved George Kyriacou, of Flasou (Solea), Cyprus, on Tuesday 27th January, at the age of 86.
George was a cherished and devoted husband, fatherand grandfather, a true pillar of strength who was always there for his family.
He leaves behind his loving wife Katina from Vokolida with whom he shared 62 wonderful years of marriage;
his children, Sophia and Andrew; son in law Sotiris†, daughter in law Elena, his grandchildren, Vas, Katerina, Gina, Nicole, and George; and his great-grandchildren, Sid, Raphaella, and Adam, along with many other family members and friends.
We are immensely thankful for every precious moment shared and every memory made, which remains a true blessing to us all. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday 10th February 2026 at 10am, at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Dormition of the Mother of God, Wood Green, Trinity Road, London N22 8LB, followed by the burial at New Southgate Cemetery, Brunswick Park Road, New Southgate, N11 1JJ. The wake will take place at the Ariana Banqueting Suite, N11 1GN.
Floral Tributes may be sent to Demetriou & English Funeral Directors 131-133 Myddleton Road, N22 8NG, by 5pm on the 9th February. For those who prefer to make a donation to Parkinson’s UK Charity, a collection box will be at the church.

Με βαθιά θλίψη και ραγισμένες καρδιές ανακοινώνουμε το θάνατο του αγαπημένου μας Γιώργου Κυριάκου, από τη Φλάσου (Σολέα) της Κύπρου, που απεβίωσε την Τρίτη 27 Ιανουαρίου, σε ηλικία 86 ετών.
Ο Γιώργος ήταν ένας αγαπημένος και αφοσιωμένος σύζυγος, πατέρας και παππούς – ένας πραγματικός πυλώνας δύναμης που ήταν πάντα εκεί για την οικογένειά του.
Καταλείπει την αγαπημένη του σύζυγο Κατίνα από τη Βοκολίδα, με την οποία μοιράστηκε 62 υπέροχα χρόνια γάμου, τα παιδιά του, Σοφία και Άνδρος, γαμπρός Σωτήρης†, τη νύφη Έλενα, τα εγγόνια του, Βάσω, Κατερίνα, Γεωργία, Νικόλ και Γιώργο, και τα δισέγγονά του, Σωτήρης, Ραφαέλλα και Αδάμo, μαζί με πολλά άλλα μέλη της οικογένειας και φίλους.
Είμαστε απέραντα ευγνώμονες για κάθε πολύτιμη στιγμή που μοιραστήκαμε και κάθε ανάμνηση που δημιουργήσαμε, η οποία παραμένει μια πραγματική ευλογία για όλους μας. Θα μας λείψει πολύ και θα μας μείνει αξέχαστος.
Η κηδεία θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Τρίτη 10 Φεβρουαρίου 2026 στις 10πμ, στον Ελληνορθόδοξο Καθεδρικό Ναό της Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου, Wood Green, Trinity Road, London, N22 8LB, και στη συνέχεια η ταφή θα ακολουθήσει στο Κοιμητήριο New Southgate, BrunswickPark Road, New Southgate, N11 1JJ. Η παρηγοριά θα δοθεί στο Ariana Banqueting Suite, N11 1GN.
Λουλούδια μπορούν να σταλούν στο Demetriou & English Funeral Directors 131-133 Myddleton Road, N22 8NG, μέχρι τις 5μμ, στις 9 Φεβρουαρίου.
Για όσους προτιμούν να κάνουν εισφορές για το Parkinson’s UK Charity, θα υπάρχει κουτί συλλογής στην εκκλησία.
