† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our brother, aged 79 from Vatyli in Cyprus and a resident of London since 1975.
He leaves behind his sisters, his partner and his nephews and nieces. From a young age he loved music and learned to play drums and guitar.
In London he continued to pursue music and learned the bouzouki and worked and sang in various nightclubs in London and the United Kingdom He was diagnosed with cancer 6 months ago, he fought the battle but unfortunately did not make it.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday 23rd December 2025,at 12pm from the Holy church of St. Catherine,
Friern Barnet Lane N20 0NL and the burial will follow at 2pm in Islington Cemetery, East Finchley N2 9AG.
The wake will be held at St Catherine’s Church Hall.
There will be a collection box on the day of the funeral for Cancer Research. Those wishing to send flowers can send

Με μεγάλη θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο του αδελφού μας, ετών 79 από την Βατυλή στην Κύπρο και κάτοικος Λονδίνου από το 1975.
Καταλείπει τις αδελφές του την σύντροφο του και τα αδελφότεκνα του. Από μικρός αγάπησε τη μουσική και έμαθε να παίζει τραμς και κιθάρα.
Στο Λονδίνο συνέχισε να ασχολείται με τη μουσική και έμαθε μπουζούκι και εργαζόταν και τραγουδούσε σε διάφορα νυχτερινά κέντρα στο Λονδίνο και γενικά στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο. Διαγνώστηκε με καρκίνο πριν 6 μήνες,έδωσε την μάχη αλλά δυστυχώς δεν τα κατάφερε.
Η κηδεία θα τελεστεί την Τρίτη 23η Δεκεμβρίου 2025, στις 12μμ από τον ιερό ναό της Αγίας Αικατερίνης, Friern Barnet Lane N20 0NL
και θα ακολουθήσει η ταφή στις 2μμ στο Islington Cemetery, East Finchley N2 9AG.
Η παρηγοριά θα δοθεί στο Hall της εκκλησίας της Αγίας Αικατερίνης.
Θα υπάρχει κουτί εισφορών την ημέρα της κηδείας για το Cancer Research. Όσοι επιθυμούν μπορούν να στείλουν λουλούδια στο γραφείο τελετών Demetriou & English, Middleton Road, N22 8NG.
