Fundraising support for Theo Sergiou

Theo Sergiou with his family and staff

Theo Sergiou is a 14year old schoolboy who attends Winchmore School.

Theo was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Retinoblastoma.

At 3 months old his parents were told he would not survive unless they removed both his eyes. His parents refused and after intense chemotherapy and radiotherapy his cancer is in remission but he has very limited vision.

Theo has been given the opportunity to visit Ecuador and the Galapagos islands in August 2017 with his school.

This is an amazing opportunity for Theo not only for the experience of helping and changing the lives for others and conservation research on the Galapagos islands but also because his condition may worsen at any time and he may lose his sight totally.

Spearheaded by Christalla Evdokimou and Androulla Hanna, Staff and Members of the Cypriot Community Centre (CCC) and the Cypriot Elderly Group (CEDG) contributed to this worthy cause so Theo can go on his Trip.
