An 82 year old man was robbed at knife point late on Saturday night in Psimolophou, raising fresh concerns about the upsurge of crime in Cyprus.
Police said the 82 year old an owner of a supermarket, was trying to enter his house at around 8.45 pm when he was attacked nby two men who threatened him with a knife and took €1,500 and a number of cheques which were the takings of the day at the supermarket. They then immobilised him up in his house and fleeing. Police are investigating
