Emergency services were called to the line between Seven Sisters and Bruce Grove stations just before 7am on Saturday.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was declared dead at the scene. Police are not treating the incident as suspicious. The man’s family has been informed.
The line was re-opened later in the morning.
