A total of 142 Cypriot citizens and individuals legally residing in the Republic of Cyprus were repatriated on Sunday from Russia.
According to a message of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Russia, posted on Facebook, the tireless efforts of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus for the safe repatriation of its citizens continue.
On Sunday, after coordinated actions by the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Russia and the General Consulates of the RoC in the Russian Federation, the Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cyprus Crisis Management Centre, 142 Cypriot citizens and individuals legally residing in the Republic of Cyprus, returned safely to Cyprus, it is noted.
They returned on a Cyprus Airways flight, which departed from Moscow`s Domodedovo Airport, the message concludes.
