Almost 10,000 vaccine doses were handed over to the Turkish Cypriots on Wednesday through the Technical Committee for Health.
Speaking to CNA, the Greek Cypriot Head of the Committee, Leonidas Phylactou, said that this is the sixth time the Turkish Cypriot community is receiving vaccines through the Committee.
He added that the delivery of the vaccines (4,690 doses of the Pfizer vaccine and 4,800 doses of the Astrazeneca vaccine) took place as usual through the Agios Dometios crossing point. He pointed out that a special means of transport was used for the Pfizer vaccines.
