Detectives investigating a fatality on the tracks at Euston Underground station are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Officers were called to the southbound Victoria Line platform at around 8.55am on Tuesday 10 March following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics also attended, and a 30-year-old woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, despite the best efforts of medical staff, the woman passed away in hospital on Friday 13 March. Her next of kin have been informed.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
The station would have been very busy at the time and officers believe a substantial number of people would have seen what happened but have not yet come forward to speak to police as the platform was evacuated following the incident.
If you were there and saw what happened, please contact BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 145 of 10 March.
