Second Division Cup
In memory of Michael Tzouvanni
Final
Brotherhood 3 KLN 0
The other game at Cockfosters FC was just as good as the first game and hundreds stayed behind to watch this entertaining game between the Second Champions Brotherhood and Last year’s Cup finalists in this Cup KLN who were really going for it in the first twenty minutes and created chances galore with the strikers Luis Almeida and Ricardo at the spearhead of the attacks resulting with a Chris Papacosta near miss with a spectacular overhead kick that just went over the bar and also Luke Papacosta’s header just going wide but surprisingly KLN never came out of that period with a goal.
Brotherhood were patient and eventually ploughed their way back into the game and managed to score their first goal when Andy Gregoriou pounced on to a loose ball to open the scoring, Mark Doyle then added a second goal and going into the break with Brotherhood 2-0 up.
The second half Brotherhood had the upper hand with KLN tiring and added a third goal with who else but the League’s top scorer Aaron Kennedy. A fantastic game which was followed with a minute’s silence for the Late Michael Tzouvanni then the trophy being presented to the Captain of Brotherhood Glen McSherry by the Brother and Father of the late Michael Tzouvanni Jo and Fofi.
