The Central Bank of Cyprus announced it donated one million euros to the Ministry of Heath to buy equipment and consumable supplies to tackle the coronavirus outbreak.
A CBC press release said “since the outbreak of the disease the bank within its competencies has taken series of measures to support companies, households and the economy in general.”
“The donation unanimously approved by the CBC Board of Directors is part of the whole effort to tackle this unprecedented situation and to assist our fellow citizens,” the press release added.
