Chris Evangelou to fight for title

The Flash fights for the Southern Area Title

Chris “The Flash” Evangelou will challenge Danny “Cassius” Connor for the vacant Southern Area Title in a ten round contest, sanctioned by the British Boxing Board of Control at a massive night of boxing at the iconic Alexandra Palace in Wood Green, London on Saturday the 8th September.

As the chief support bout to Darren Barker, Evangelou will be returning to the venue where he knocked out Marius Jasutis in 49 seconds in front of over 1000 of his fans in April 2010.

Connor is a worthy opponent having recently won the British Masters Title over ten rounds, known as a tough opponent, Evangelou will be looking to repeat his last performance at this venue and stop Connor.

Evangelou has had to wait for an opponent for sometime as the original opponent for the Title, Darren Hamilton, recently won the British title, and this shows what a tremendous opportunity this is for the Flash.

The show promoted by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Promotions will be filled with top class bouts across the weight divisions.

Tickets have now been released and are available on www.teamevangelou.com or telephone 07956 468841.

The Flash would like to take this opportunity to express his sincere appreciation to his committed sponsors, Edmonton Eagles Amateur Boxing Club, Chris Anthony Estates, TravelClickHolidays.co.uk, Mighteefit.com, V. Unit Barber Shop.

The Flash will be traveling to Las Vegas to train at the Mayweather Gym for a two week training camp prior to the bout, organized by his Manager and Father Dr. Costakis Evangelou, the team hopes that this environment of champions will inspire Evangelou to fulfill his dream.
