The Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism announced on Friday the commencement of the competitive procedure for the selection of the single licensee for the Cyprus Integrated Casino Resort.
The Announcement of the Invitation to submit an Expression of Interest, which expires on December 18, is published on the Ministry’s website ( http://www.mcit.gov.cy ), together with the Draft Regulations, the official text of the Law in Greek and its unofficial translation in English.
Under Secretary to the President Constantinos Petrides said in a post on Facebook that the selection will take place on the basis of concrete criteria related to the experience and efficiency of the candidates to operate this kind of recreation resort, as well as to the plans and the vision for growth they have for Cyprus and its tourist product.
He noted that once everything runs smoothly, 45 from today the final selection will be made. “We will continue with the same seriousness and transparency as we did until now and we hope that this immense development project will become a reality,” he added.
