After a late night meeting Tuesday, the board of Hermes airports Wednesday served an injunction to ground a Cyprus Airways Airbus pending collection of a €4m debt allegedly owed by the airline.
Sources said the aircraft had been due to be returned to the leasing company that owns it today but the injunction means that this now cannot happen.
Legal teams from CA and Hermes were meeting Wednesday morning.
