Turkish Cypriot media have reported that a woman who tried to escape from her husband’s violent attack and tried to flee to her neighbours house from her home balcony, fell 6.8m to her death.
Nilgun Urhan who was taken into hospital on the 8th of August, died yesterday after fighting for her life. On the night of the incident, her husband, Serdal Urhan was arrested and taken into custody .
Urhan confessed to the police that he fought with his wife and beat her because she received a text message.
Urhan is being held by the police for murder following his wife’s death.
