The negotiators of the two communities in Cyprus meet again on Wednesday in the framework of the Cyprus talks, aiming at reaching a solution of the Cyprus problem.
Greek Cypriot negotiator Andreas Mavroyiannis and Turkish Cypriot negotiator Kudret Ozersai will hold a meeting in the UN protected Nicosia airport area.
CNA has learnt that the agenda includes economy, citizenship and EU issues.
The two negotiators may also set a new date for a meeting between the leaders of the two communities in Cyprus (President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu), which was postponed, due to the admission of President Anastasiades to hospital. Anastasiades, who suffered from symptoms of gastroenteritis, was discharged from hospital on Monday.
The leaders of the two communities are scheduled to hold a meeting on the 7th of July.
Cyprus has been divided since 1974, when Turkish troops invaded and occupied its northern third. Anastasiades and Eroglu reached on February 11 an agreement, which led to the resumption of peace talks to reunite the country under a federal roof.
