A fan favourite, Christofi has represented his country 31 times since his move to the capital, scoring three times.
He won this year’s best player award
He is a winger who tends to play as a centre-forward or second striker. He is highly regarded for his strong shoot. He was considered one of the most promising young players in Cyprus.[1] His transfer from Enosis Neon Paralimni to Omonia was the most expensive transfer in the history of Cypriot football, reaching a reported cost of £1,000,000.[2]
With Omonia he signed a 4-year contract earning about €150,000 annually. In his contract there is a clause that enables Onisilos Sotira and Enosis Neon Paralimniou to each gain 15% of the fee paid for any future transfer of the player.
