Detective Inspector Yasmin Lalani, from Enfield CID, said: “We are very concerned about these incidents. There could be other children who have been approached and didn’t tell their parents or police, and I would urge them to contact police.”
Officers from Edmonton are warning schools in the borough and warning children to always remember stranger danger rules.
DCI Paul Healy added: “There is always the fine balance of warning parents and children without causing unnecessary alarm. But there are obvious similarities between all of these cases and it is imperative that we take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of youngsters in our community. I would urge anyone who thinks they recognise these people to contact my team urgently.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Enfield Police on 101, alternately call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
