Police have launched an investigation after a perpetrator tried to use a digger to remove a cash terminal from a petrol station in Aradippou during the early hours of Monday.
According to the police, CCTV cameras caught the suspect trying to remove the cash machine at around 3.00am.
However, when the alarm was sounded he was forced to flee the area. Considerable damage was caused to the petrol station.
Police are now trying to identify the perpetrator and the digger he used in the attack.
