An earthquake measuring 2.5 on the Richter scale was recorded in Limassol by the Cyprus Geological Survey Department’s seismological network at 4pm, it said on Wednesday.
The earthquake’s epicentre was in the Episkopi area of Limassol, 14 kilometers west of the city of Limassol with a depth of 15 kilometers, it noted in a press release.
It was felt in Limassol and the surrounding areas.
