A 4.8 Richter earthquake hit at 3:25 pm on Tuesday off the coast of Cyprus.
Reports form CNA said that it was felt in Nicosia, and that it had a depth of 40 kilometres.
The Seismological Centre at the Geological Survey is following the earthquake, they reported to CNA.
