Boxing brothers Chris’ The Flash and Andreas ‘The Ace’Evangelou put on an impressive display of boxing in their bouts at York Hall on Saturday 12th July. Both boxers stopped their opponents with KOs and these victories now put them in line for shots at the International Masters titles in September.
Andreas’ disciplined display caught the eye as he boxed excellently against Ricards Bolotniks a tough, hard hitting opponent. The improvements made in Andreas’ boxing were clear to see as he gave a masterclass display. He looked determined and focused, always in control and getting the measure of his opponent and gaining a 4th round KO after some powerful combinations.
With Chris’ bout following a little after Andreas’ win, the brothers’ loyal army of fans were all in expectation for another Evangelou victory. Chris now stepping up a weight to box at welterweight looked comfortable and in excellent shape. The evidence of all his hard work in training was evident right from the start of the bout. After dominating the first round, Chris threw a combination that ended with a powerful uppercut that brought his opponent Mick Mills to his knees and from which he could not recover.

It was a great night of boxing from both these young stars, who continue to impress and who now after coming through so impressively look forward to boxing for the International Masters titles in September this year.
