Six fire engines and around 35 firefighters and officers attended a fire at Marks and Spencers shop with disused flats above it on Muswell Hill Broadway last night.
The entire ground, first and second floor of the building was completely damaged by fire, as was most of the roof.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Fire engines and an aerial ladder platform from Paddington, Holloway, Hornsey, Tottenham, Finchley and Edmonton fire stations attended the incident.
The brigade was called at 2255 and the fire was under control at 0109. The fire is believed to have been caused by logs stored on top of a pizza oven.
