In the new appointments made, the government and ruling forces have painted the Boards of the Semi-governmental organizations (SGOs) in deep blue, the main colour of the ruling DISY party. They have proceeded to strengthen DISY’s control over the Boards of SGO’s. They have ignored society and ignored the country’s real needs.
This time the rulers didn’t dare talk about appointing the “excellent of the excellent” to the Boards of SGO’s. They have been exposed so much by the fact that so far the government’s appointments have proved to be inadequate and erroneous.
In the new appointments made the government and rulering forces have painted the SGO’s Boards in deep blue. They have proceeded to strengthen DISY’s complete control over of the Boards of SGO’s. They ignored society, the real needs of the country, the mission and role of the SGO’s and sacrificed them for the sake of petty–party and petty-political expediencies and considerations.
Even as regards the Boards of Organizations where in effect there should be consensus, such as State Universities, the rulers chose to act almost unilaterally.
The government and ruling forces have once again preferred to serve DISY’s expediencies, rather than the public interest.
