Haringey Council: Helping you to pinpoint local services

Finding local Haringey services is now even easier thanks to a new online mapping tool available on the council’s website.

My Haringey helps residents to quickly and easily find information relevant to them based on their location in the borough, and the mobile and tablet-friendly pages make it easy to use on-the-go.

Rather than trawling the website to find information, My Haringey allows people to use their postcode to find a range of local services and info – such as nearby planning applications; whether they’re in a controlled parking zone; nearby schools, and who their local councillor is.

My Haringey is part of the council’s work to move more services online to provide smarter, more efficient ways of delivering council services, with greater convenience for local residents. It also builds on our reputation for award-winning, accessible website design, recognised by public sector IT watchdog Socitm and the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).

Cllr Joseph Ejiofor, Cabinet Member for Customer Services, said:

I’m proud of our award-winning website, which has been recognised as ‘Best in London’ by Socitm, but we’re always keen to find new ways of enhancing the site and improving access to Haringey services and information. My Haringey brings local services together in one central location, making it easier than ever for people to find the information they need when they need it.”

My Haringey is currently available in beta at https://my.haringey.gov.uk to allow for rigorous testing and further system refinements ahead of its official launch next month. We welcome any feedback from residents about ways we can improve the new system. You can leave comments at www.haringey.gov.uk/my-haringey-feedback or by emailing content@haringey.gov.uk.
