Tuesday’s heavy rain caused a lot of problems in Cyprus as roads flooded and rivers began to burst their banks.
53 fire engines were called out mainly in the Nicosia area.
Police had to close several roads due to flooding.
Wednesday temperatures are anticipated to reach 24 °C inland, 22 °C on the coast and 12 °C in the mountains, all around the usual average for this time of year.
However, localised showers have been forecast and there may be a storm by the afternoon, although it is expected to be confined to mountain areas.
