40,000 enthusiastic fans gathered at the OAKA stadium in Athens on Sunday to witness Greece’s most talked about event of the year. Much loved Greek singer Konstantinos Argiros and iconic rapper 50 Cent, put on a show like no other!
Although the concert was originally scheduled for the Saturday, technical issues meant it had to be postponed, but concertgoers say it was definitely worth the wait as they got to experience an amazing show with both artists performing their biggest hits.
There was a moment where Konstantinos was visibly emotional; moved to tears, he paused on stage to take it all in, and proceeded to make the sign of the cross, demonstrating his gratitude.
The concert was opened by Josephine, FY and Kings, and special guests included Light and Rack.
Amongst the crowd were well-known Greek singers such as Sakis Rouvas, Petros Iakovidis, Giorgos Tsalikis and Kelly Kelekidou.
Prior to the event, Konstantinos spent time with 50 Cent and his associates on a luxury yacht. Posting on social media, he captioned a photo: “Athens with my friends, @50cent, @unclemurda and @tonyyayo. Firing up!”
50 Cent has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
He spent this summer holidaying on the island of Mykonos.
